Doosan Digital Innovation announced on the 30th that its Digital Headquarters held a workshop with MIT CISR at Doosan Tower in Bundang on the 27th, engaging in an in-depth discussion about digital innovation.

MIT CISR is the Center for Information Systems Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, established in 1974. It researches organizational digitalization, technological innovation, business process improvement, and organizational culture change. Doosan has been registered as the only official sponsor in Korea since 2020 and has been continuously collaborating with MIT CISR.

In this workshop, conducted as a global industry-academic cooperation, the importance of DDI's digital innovation strategy and digital innovation initiatives was discussed with group strategy and digital executives and team leaders. Through this, the company aims to strengthen the digital capabilities of group employees and accelerate digital innovation.

Nils Fonstad, a researcher at MIT CISR who gave the keynote speech, introduced methods for designing organizations that achieve great results through competitive digitalization under the theme 'Scaling for Success: Realizing Big Value through Digital Innovation'. In particular, all employees of Doosan Group were encouraged to participate freely, sharing real-world examples of factors hindering digital innovation and ways to overcome them, prompting active participation from employees.
