Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI) announced on the 15th that global cybersecurity specialist Cybereason has been named a Leader in the Endpoint Security Platform category of the '2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant'.

DDI, as Cybereason's partner for Korea and the Asia-Pacific region, supplies Cybereason's Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution to domestic and international customers.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates companies based on the completeness of their corporate vision, including product strategy and innovation plans, and their ability to execute, including products, services, and customer experience. Companies are then categorized as Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries, or Niche Players. It is described as a guideline for companies looking to adopt IT solutions.

Cybereason was named a Visionary in the Endpoint Security Platform category in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant, and has now been listed as a Leader just one year later.

Cybereason's EDR solution is a defense solution that automatically detects threats in real-time, including new variant viruses that are yet unknown, by applying artificial intelligence (AI), big data and behavioral analysis, and machine learning. It is explained that it can detect and respond to malicious activities occurring on computers, mobile devices, and servers in real-time.
