Doosan hosts the Teachers’ Overseas Economic Study Tour program to give teachers a chance to experience schools in countries with advanced economies, and the Science Teachers’ Overseas Study Tour program offers them the opportunity to visit science-related facilities and industrial sites.

Since 2006, Doosan has regularly donated books to elementary schools in remote areas and Korean schools overseas.

Since 1979, Doosan has selected and provided financial support to university research centers and professors of pure academic disciplines to help them focus on their research activities.

To help boost the research morale of young medical scientists, Doosan established the Doosan Yonkang Research Awards in 2006 and has presented monetary gifts to medical scientists for publishing outstanding medical articles in reputed journals inside and outside Korea.
