To help ignite the creative, scientific minds of young people, Doosan offers a science education program to teenagers. Children are exposed to various future technologies and science principles based on which they can improve their engineering and technological literacy and problem-solving skills. Doosan employees also participate in the program to help the children broaden their perspectives.

To help teenagers in the local community explore possible careers that match their aptitudes, Doosan offers a hands-on learning experience about industrial plant engineering jobs as well as technologies and tasks required at real-life industrial sites.

With an aim to help nurture engineering talents, Doosan signed an industry-academic collaboration agreement with Changwon Mechanical Technical High School, Busan Automotive High School and Sudo Electric Technical High School to establish and operate a “Doosan Class,” which offers a technical and capacity-building education tailored to Doosan Enerbility.

In support of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education, Doosan Bobcat carries out various activities by dedicating STEM classrooms, donating construction equipment and offering scholarships to help build a strong STEM base in partnership with North Dakota State University.

Using its construction skills and experience, Doosan Engineering & Construction contributes to providing affordable homes to the disadvantaged by taking part in building houses in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Korea.

Doosan implements emergency drills for vulnerable groups to enhance safety awareness and ensure that they are better prepared in the face of natural and social disasters.

To help reinvigorate the local business of the Dongdaemun market, employees and professional instructors visit wholesale and retail stores in the area to offer Chinese language classes and etiquette education.

Through the wish-granting program, the Doosan Bears contribute to making a better world by doing what they do best, such as meeting with children who dream of becoming baseball players, giving people with disabilities a chance to throw out the first ceremonial pitch at a ballgame and more.
