Doosan employees from around the world focus on identifying the needs of their local communities and get involved in community service activities together on the Doosan Day of Community Service. So far, about 53,000 employees from more than 20 countries have participated in the activity. Our Korean colleagues delivered handmade furniture to low-income households, while those in the U.S. donated toys and books to children. Doosan volunteers in the U.K. and other European countries also offered their helping hands to improve public facilities, while those in India and Vietnam repaired schools and welfare facilities, and improved the homes of low-income families. The program has been regularly carried out since October 2014, and has been established as part of Doosan’s unique CSR culture.
