The Chung-Ang University Da Vinci Graduate School of AI, aiming to “cultivate talented individuals for the development of AI contributing to human society,” will open and teach courses specializing in the 3 core AI fields (reliable AI, automated AI, and general AI) and 6 AI-applied fields (medical, security, vehicle, robot, language, and content).

The AI Center of Excellence (CoE), an AI specialized organization under the HoD, has signed an AI research agreement with Chung-Ang University and plans to jointly conduct the latest research project with the Da Vinci Graduate School of AI.

Joon-ki Baek, the Dean of the Graduate School of AI, expressed his ambition and said “the support from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Doosan Group, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government has been very helpful. We will devote ourselves to nurturing talented individuals in the AI field and building the future of the industrial ecosystem based on mutual cooperation with various industries.”

Vice President and HoD Robert Oh delivered a congratulatory speech and said "We expect the Chung-Ang University Da Vinci Graduate School of AI will nurture competent students in the AI field who will be capable of leading the global market and developing the AI industry in Korea.” He added “We will actively support the Chung-Ang University Da Vinci Graduate School of AI so their members can achieve academic and technical accomplishments as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, Chung-Ang University was selected as the national AI graduate school along with Seoul National University in April for the government project to nurture world-class talented individuals in the AI field.
