The “CIO of the Year Awards” ceremony hosted by the CIO Forum of the Federation of Korean Information Industries and Electronic Times Internet was held at the Grand InterContinental Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul on the 8th.
Choong-geun Song, Vice Head of the Supreme Court, Chang-ki Kwon, Vice President of Kyobo Life Insurance, Ki-tae Han, Chief of Konkuk University Hospital, and Robert Oh, Vice President of Doosan have been selected for the CIO of the year awards for each industry.

Robert Oh, Vice President of Doosan, who was awarded the CIO of the Year Award in manufacturing, is the Head of Digitalization at Doosan. Leading the digital innovation of the Doosan Group and its affiliates, he established the next-generation cyber security strategy, successfully converting and completing the transition in a short period of time.
In response to COVID-19, the company transferred all of the group’s data to a public cloud, modernized applications, and established a workplace and security environment as part of its establishment for a system enabling a sustainable business and flexible management.
The company also established support for the group’s new growth engine business using digital technology, cyber security strategies and mid-to-long-term plans for global affiliates, and group governance for materialization and implementation.
