Doosan Corporation announced on the 15th that it has been designated as a certified security monitoring specialist company by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The security monitoring specialist company designation system certifies companies capable of operating security monitoring centers for national and public institutions, based on a comprehensive evaluation of technical personnel, capital, and performance capabilities. There are 23 registered companies in Korea, including Doosan Corporation.
Companies designated as security monitoring specialists can provide services such as supporting the operation of security monitoring centers for national, local government, and public institutions, and dispatching specialized personnel.
Doosan Corporation stated, "This certification recognizes the security monitoring expertise and performance capabilities of Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI), which is responsible for digital transformation (DT) within the group."
Doosan Digital Innovation has established a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) that provides an at-a-glance view of the security status of Doosan Group's various affiliate business sites worldwide and develops systematic security strategies.
Through this, they provide integrated security monitoring services optimized for business environments such as on-premises (IT infrastructure built and operated within user-managed facilities) and cloud.
In addition, they are developing comprehensive cybersecurity solution businesses including Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud, and integrated PC solutions. They plan to expand their business areas in the future to include security consulting and publishing Threat Intelligence Reports.
