Doosan Digital Innovation Leads HR Innovation Armed with 'Peoply'

'Peoply', which encapsulates Doosan Group's human resource (HR) innovation know-how into a single solution, is gaining market attention.

Doosan Digital Innovation (DDI), which is leading the digital transformation and IT service innovation of Doosan Group, has proactively taken steps towards HR digital transformation.

DDI has played a key role in internal digital transformation and IT innovation within Doosan Group, and for about five years, it has been expanding into external business based on this experience and know-how. In particular, it provides services to global subsidiaries and external customers in various industries, utilizing the latest technologies from HR solutions to AI, big data, and cybersecurity.

Seo Hang-ryeol, Manager of DDI's Cloud Solution Business Division, revealed in an interview with <Digital Daily>, "Based on Doosan's successful case and experience in building a global integrated HR system by adopting SAP's SuccessFactors, we are also exploring cooperation with other companies pursuing HR digital transformation."

Notably, DDI is showing remarkable achievements in the HCM field based on SAP SuccessFactors, and is expanding its base in the SaaS market through its self-developed HR solution 'Peoply'.

Seo explained, "'Peoply' is an HR solution developed using SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), designed to reflect the needs of domestic companies and market demands. It provides customized functions tailored to domestic laws and corporate environments, such as 52-hour workweek, Korean-style attendance management, internal job posting, and 360-degree multi-faceted diagnosis. Peoply is provided in a cloud-based SaaS form, with the advantage of easily reflecting the latest HR trends and applying generative AI technology."

Particularly, Seo stated, "Since 'Peoply' is provided in a cloud-based SaaS form, users can access necessary HR services anytime, anywhere, and it has the advantage of continuously improving and updating services as the application of generative AI technology is easy."
