DDI announced on the 19th that it will participate in the '23rd World Security Expo & e-Government Information Security Solution Fair (SECON & eGISEC 2024)' to be held at KINTEX, Ilsan from March 20 to 22, together with global cybersecurity partners Cybereason and Claroty.
Now in its 23rd year, the World Security Expo is Korea's first security exhibition where government departments, related organizations, and companies involved in information security and physical security participate to form networks and create opportunities for business expansion. Since 2012, it has been held simultaneously with the 'e-Government Information Security Solution Fair (eGISEC)', establishing itself as Asia's largest integrated security exhibition. This year, more than 400 domestic and foreign companies are participating, and visitors can examine market trends in △cybersecurity △video security △Internet of Things (IoT) security △access control solutions, etc.
At this exhibition, DDI plans to showcase IT and OT security solutions, and introduce comprehensive cybersecurity solutions including △AI security solutions △cloud security △integrated PC security. On the first day of the exhibition, there will also be a presentation session on 'Advanced Endpoint Security Measures', which is the core of next-generation IT security, for government and industry officials.
Cybereason, co-operating the booth, will introduce integrated IT security solutions to customers, including △Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) △Managed Detection & Response (MDR) △Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV) △Ransomware and fileless malware prevention. Notably, Cybereason's EDR solution has obtained the highest grade (Level 1) of GS certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association of Korea (TTA) and was the first foreign EDR security solution to be registered on the Public Procurement Service's Digital Service Mall last year. The EDR solution is a multi-layered defense solution that automatically detects and preemptively responds to hacking activities occurring on computers, mobile devices, and servers in real-time using technologies such as △AI △big data and behavioral analysis △machine learning.
Claroty is a solution that supports all three essential aspects of OT security: △visualization of security vulnerabilities (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, CVE) customized to the customer's OT assets △remote management and control that meets all OT security standard guidelines △intuitive alert monitoring based on the Purdue Model, which structures the network into 6 levels, and Zone/Conduit distinctions. It also has references actually applied to various global industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage (F&B).
A DDI official said, "As this is Asia's largest exhibition, we will actively promote DDI's various cybersecurity solutions to lead to business opportunities," adding, "We will continue to expand our business by developing and advancing various next-generation cybersecurity solutions in addition to IT and OT security."
Meanwhile, DDI will conduct IT security and OT security consultations and mini-sessions within the exhibition booth and operate a permanent demo zone where visitors can experience cybersecurity solutions.
